If the serial number has no suffix letter, #389xxx is a Manurhin-made. It features an exposed hammer, a traditional double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. Either one of these books will contain an index of serial numbers for Walther guns. 3-digit number inside slide (scratched with a needle) Acceptance stamp: Back grip strap.
